Mata Amritananda Mayi Center (ashram), is a Non-profit Organisation located in San Ramon, California. There are two other regional centers in Sante Fe, New Mexico and Ann Arbor, Michigan. M.A Center is initiated by Amma, a Remarkable Humanitarian and Spirtiual Leader from India. In 2002, Amma was presented with the Gandhi-King award for Non-violence at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. Amma has started innumerable humanitarian services that span across the world. M.A Center supports all of the work of its sister organization, M.A Math, based in India. M.A Math has recently contributed 1 Billion Rupees ( nearly 24 million dollars) for the T Tsunami Relief. Today, Amma's Humanitarian activities has grown into a huge network branching out into all areas like social, medical, educational, environmental and spiritual. The list is endless and growing on a daily basis. Our booth will be intended to bring the awareness of our different humanitarian activites that are undertaken by M.A Center, USA and our sister organization, M.A.Math in India.
