Earth Day Canada

We educate, empower and inspire Canadians of all ages and backgrounds to achieve local solutions to improve the state of the environment through our suite of year-round and award-winning programs. The success of EDC programs—focused on education, action, recognition and financial grants—lies in the fact that they teach Canadians about simple, easy-to-accomplish actions that any person can do. Earth Day Canada's year round programs include: EcoKids (for kids and K-8 teachers), EcoMentors (youth 15-24), Hometown Heroes Award Program, Toyota Earth Day Scholarship, Community Environment Fund and a number of contests, challenges and campaigns. In addition, EDC is conducting research on engaging ethno-cultural communities in the environmental movement.
