Excellent Development

Excellent Development works with community self-help groups in Africa to transform their environment sustainably and to improve their food production and water supplies, health and incomes. Our holistic approach to these problems starts with the building of small sand dams and the terracing of the adjoining land, followed by the planting of trees. These measures result in improved soil and water conservation, which increases the availability of clean water and enables increased food production.
