Description
Demonstration site and permaculture courses and consultations. Participants enjoy:
off-the-grid campsites,
spring water piped by gravity to the wood heated showers and summer kitchen,
organic whole foods including sourdough bread, raw dairy and locally pastured meats and
drinking water straight from a spring in the wild mountains of Pocahontas County, WV.
Center for Bioregional Living students at Wild Meadow Farm will experience our off-the-grid systems which include:
springhouses, gravity fed water, and greywater sumps,
rainwater catchments, ponds, and solar and ram powered water pumping for irrigation,
organic vegetable production, fruit and nut tree cultivation, mushrooms, beekeeping,
natural building with on-site and local materials including earthen plaster,
selective firewood and pole harvesting to encourage sugar maples and apples,
rotational grazing and chicken tractors.
