The Green Architect

Marilyn has over 30 years of architectural experience. She specializes in green architecture, meaning that her homes are non-toxic, energy efficient, resource conserving, beautiful and comfortable! Marilyn Crenshaw began her architectural career as an artist & drafter. She graduated from UC Berkeley’s School of Architecture in 1979, and got her California state architect's license in 1990. Since 1976, Marilyn has designed or collaborated on over 500 residential, commercial and industrial projects in California, Colorado, Washington, Montana and, soon, New Mexico. Marilyn is well-versed in residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial architecture, and she works with private, governmental, and corporate employers in addition to occasionally co-consulting with teams of other architects. Marilyn is known for her ability to navigate and negotiate the complex and often confusing world of permits and paperwork, contracting and construction. Yet through an artistic, creative and vibrant intimacy that she dedicates to each and every project, she turns her client's desires and dreams into reality.
