We are sick of ecology!

You certainly know why people leave their cities for some health centers settled in places with clean environment, pure water, and healthy air. It’s no wonder that living in cities and megalopolises we expose our health to various diseases caused by bad ecology. We are more likely to catch some illness then people living somewhere in the country, away from plants and streams of cars.

One of the health problems is intolerant reactions to foods and drinks. Doctors are still not sure whether these reactions can be called allergies, but the symptoms are very much alike. They call it ecological illness that caused by chemical or food sensitivity.

Doctors are not sure about the causes of the Ecological illness either. A few ecologically sick people were interviewed and they suppose the causes might be: fast foods, artificially-preserved foods, pre-packed and frozen foods; various drugs and medication taken daily and of course pollution of the environment with such harmful chemicals as fertilizers, hydrocarbons and insecticides.

Ecologically friendly products

In our everyday life we rarely think about the damage we make to the Earth and environment. We also don’t pay much attention to the products we choose although there is a great range of them. There are ecological products, which are now becoming popular among those people who prefer greener living. When choosing ecological products we preserve our planet from water pollution, air pollution, toxic chemical substances. There are some common categories of green ecological products:

1) Environmentally friendly – not damaging the nature and minimizing the harm to it.

2) Organic certified – produced without the use of harmful fertilizes.

3) Recycled – new things made of the old ones by processing those. Materials that can be recycled are glass, paper, cans, plastic bags etc.

4) Sustainable Forestry – in this case the care of the forest ecosystems including rivers, lakes, wildlife habitats is taken.

There is a great variety of green ecological products but they all imply the reduction of the damage made to the environment. You can either buy recycled products or provide your individual recycling service with composters. Considering the importance of reducing methane gas production certain companies manage to harness the methane output and manufacture ecological products.

New discuss on global warming

Read the news here:

All over the planet recently, people turned off electric lights to illustrate alarm about human-caused global warming, and the symbolism, it seems to me, is dead-on right about the possible consequences not of warming itself, but of hype about warming.

Progress could become regress, and figuratively speaking, the world could go dark.

The fear mongering knows no surcease. Every possible evil is blamed on climate change, from water shortages to flooding to the disappearance of certain frogs.

---------------

The politicians mean that there’s too much panic about global warming. On the other hand the panic can be vindicated. That’s really important and there is statistics that shows the warming year by year. The global temperatures are becoming higher. I don’t think we should simply ignore this crucial environmental issue.

What? Wolves hunt for salmon!?

We know that wolves do eat deers and it’s normal. How about the wolves eating fish? Wolves in Alaska were watched catching salmon and eating it. Of course they are not as skillful hunters as bears and they can’t catch fish on races. At that point they tend to catch salmon in isolated pools where no high streams could prevent the wolves from getting their food.

Sometimes wolves would just bite off the heads of salmon and eat them. When it’s hard time like winter season youngsters get a chance to gain weight by eating fish.

People saw wolves with their puppies hunting in the areas of rivers full with salmon. That’s really important for puppies to eat fish, for a deer is not always left after older wolves.

Youngsters collected €1300 for the nature

The length of the marathon organized for members of Klabb Hutaff by BirdLife Malta can only strike. 12 kilometer marathon was full of students, their teachers and parents.  The reason of the marathon is to give everybody who’s under 18 a chance to do their part for environment and greener life.

‘That’s also a part of education’ claims the BirdLife’s partner. Walking through Rabat and up to is-Simar Narute Reserve in Xemxija brought €1300 which would be transferred toward optical equipment for is-Simar Nature Reserve.

Children spoke on about the environment and expressed their ideas. All of them are obsessed with the idea of helping Mother Nature and of course children will continue their campaigning.

Winter around the world

Hello, privet, hola, ni hao! I’m back to my blog finally, and it’s winter now. Yes, the winter season is over the world, but not everywhere will you find snow :) I’d love to dedicate this article to winter and the winter nature. At that time of year the nature changes completely. Whatever you say, winter has some hidden mystery. Probably the nature falls asleep and it’s not that lively, probably the snow charms with its purity :) Here are some nice winter pictures. I really love them, hope you will too.

The northern lights in Alaska. It’s a spectacular scene. No wonder lots of tourists are rushing to Alaska each year in order to watch the beauty and more than that have fun skiing, walking.

The Canadian winter nature is something that you should see with your own eyes. Snow-covered pine-trees and snow-clad mountains.

That’s a Russian winter picture that I took myself in the nearby park.

Winter in Algeria! No comment :-)

How people protest naked

Quite a strange way to protest against global warming was held in in the Swiss Alps

The nude volunteers posed for us and renowned naked "installation" artist Spencer Tunick on the Aletsch Glacier.

Without clothes, the human body is vulnerable, exposed, its life or death at the whim of the elements. Global warming is stripping away our glaciers and leaving our entire planet vulnerable to extreme weather, floods, sea-level rise, global decreases in carrying capacity and agricultural production, fresh water shortages, disease and mass human dislocations.

I think it's really a brave step. People are so worried about their country and the environment that they are ready to get undressed and act! Those people must be completely hooked on greener living :)
