Rate It Green (www.rateitgreen.com) is an online community for people interested in finding and sharing the best in green building and design products and services. Recently launched, the site features an online Green Products Forum and a Green Directory and Ratings system where members can share their thoughts and ask questions about a variety of green products, services, and related topics. Fundamental to the Rate It Green concept is that people will benefit significantly from the type of advice only available from those who have already worked with and used these products and services. Joining Rate It Green as a community member is free of charge (Individual members who wish to post on the site fill out a registration survey and others can become a "Site Guest" and browese all content – but Rate It Green will never sell or give out any personal or confidential information). Companies also register with Rate It Green free of charge, as our goal is to include as many resources as possible for our members.
Rate It Green currently seeks lead users who will be able to share what they know about various products and services to teach others. We arewroking hard to make the site 100%, but it is admittedly best for those who are comfortable and enjoy playing on a beta at the moment. We do have a strong links section at the momentand some great articles which can help everyone get started learning mroe about green building. And people new to green can use the Ratings are to see over 500 products. But the ratings are not yet populated. Thanks!
