Ready for Winter
My daughter and her husband who have a three bedroom home in East Brookfield Massachusetts and a three bedroom vacation home in Vermont have teamed up with
other people to save money on the fuel pellets for their pellet heating stoves at home. I visited them two weeks ago and saw the heaps of pellets sacks stacked high in their back yard. Last winter they heated their main home with two pellet stoves for $1,000. for the entire winter. They put the oil heating system low on only when they go to away over night. They used 160 gallons of oil for the entire year, which included hot water. They have been doing this for several years and it works out very well.
If you are looking for a Pellet Stove most places are sold out. If you are thinking ahead one can be ordered for next year. Pellets are hard to find now too, but with good planning you could set yourself up to save a lot of money in the future.
