Welcome to The Reiki Shoppe. We offer a personalized service working with children, adults, the elderly, and pets.  We are open on Wednesdays, Week Nights, and Saturdays and appointments can be requested online.  Lauren Deknis Bortolami is the founder of The Reiki Shoppe and is a single parent who works in the Boston area and runs the shoppe by appointment.  She is a Reiki Master Teacher, Herbalist, and Spirit Medium who is Catholic and does not practice Wicca.   The Reiki Shoppe offers other wellness such as Raindrop Therapy, Ear Coning, classes, parties, and group sessions as well as a selection of gorgeous healing gifts that can be purchased in the store and online.

From the early age of five, Lauren was able to sense and see spirit. Being sick from infancy to the age of five, Lauren almost lost her life to severe bronchitis and pnemonia.  Lauren's journey into the natural healing world began in the early 1990's because of  a drug misdiagnosis. Due to health issues combined with stressful and traumatic experiences in her life, and the recent death of her father Lauren continued her studies in Reiki and Spiritual Communication and felt "driven" to open the Shoppe to help others going through similar experiences who suffer from bereavement,  illness, divorce, injury, stress, and who suffer from cancer or who are terminally ill.  Lauren's first instinct was to help the community by offering a volunteer program to those who serve and protect it for firefighters, police, and those serving our country.     Read her story. 

Clients have visited The Reiki Shoppe and have traveled from as far as New Hampshire and the lower Cape Cod area to visit Lauren and the Shoppe whether to receive a Reiki treatment, a spiritual reading, attend a group or class, or find out how open they are to the spiritual world.  She works with individuals from all types of backgrounds whether business owners, nurses, contractors, electricians, college students, public safety, or paranormal investigators, and more who all seek the same thing - mostly to reduce pain or stress, help with healing from illness, injury, or cancer, or to find out if their loved one has passed to the other side.  Lauren's services are unique and intuitive as when each client leaves her shoppe, the relationship is not over. She bonds with each of her clients and they know that they can turn to her in a time of crisis whether a phone call or a quick "can you get me in" appointment.  Most clients Lauren has worked with have suffered from mental health illnesses, anxiety, stress, depression, pain from illnesses or injuries, and cancer.

Reiki is not a belief nor a religion.  Lauren Deknis Bortolami uses Reiki and Spirtual Medium work only through prayer with God. Reiki is currently used in local hospitals as a relaxation therapy Children's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Insitute, and More pre/post surgery and chemotherapy. Reiki can be used to slow down bleeding, speed up the healing of wounds and broken bones, to reduce trauma and stress, and provide an overall sense of peace in the body.   Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesdays, Saturday mornings, and select week nights.
