MOM's purpose is to protect and restore the Environment.
To reduce our carbon footprint, MOM's began purchasing wind power in 2005. Company wide, MOM's bought a total of 1.5 million kilowatt hours of wind power in 2006. This is the energy equivalent to powering 150 average American homes for one year. The positive environmental impact of this purchase can be compared to planting 122,486 trees. In 2008, MOM's continues to uphold our commitment to the environment through the use of 100% wind power, recycling, and environmental initiatives in our stores. |

Thanksgiving Turkey Update
Still need a Thanksgiving turkey? MOM's has a limited supply of Maple Lawn fresh local turkeys and Eberly's Organic turkeys available in stores on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact individual stores for details or special requests. Pick up days for preordered turkeys are Monday Nov 24th, Tuesday Nov 25th, and Wednesday Nov 26th. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

 | Silicon for strong hair
Because your hair’s cuticles are rich in silicon, be sure to include dietary silicon in your diet to provide elasticity and hair strength. Good sources of silicon include cabbage, cauliflower, celery, leeks, onions, and rhubarb. Supplemental silicon is also available as orthosilic acid, which is more easily absorbed in the digestive tract than either silica or silicon dioxide.
