Earth Perks™ are the criteria we use to select the products we offer in our Earth Gals Shop™. If our goal is to harness the power of Earth Gals™ to make a difference, then we feel it is our responsibility to find products to offer you that are fun, useful, high-quality, good value AND that tangibly benefit the environment and help improve the lives of people in need.

We have gone Wild over these awesome Green products! They are Fun. Useful. 100% Green. These products are hand-selected by us because NOT ONLY do they benefit the earth, but they are Fair Trade AND proceeds support a good cause – whether protecting endangered species, enabling disabled children to have surgery, or putting a roof over a war refugee’s head. Wow!
For example: The gorgeous recycled telephone wire baskets support disabled children in Vietnam. The colorful recycled food wrapper baskets provide income for women and children in crisis in Nepal. The cool mosaic handbags are crafted from recycled plastic shopping bags and support women in the slums of Delhi. It just doesn’t get any better than this in terms of shopping green.

Items made from 100% natural ingredients.
Is the product real or made from real stuff? We don’t think organic apples or corn contain ingredients like phenylalanine. And, we’ve never seen a ‘polyester plant’ or ‘plastic plant’ growing in the forest, or a small, furry ‘acrylic’ or ‘polypropylene’ running in the wild. If a product has junk you can’t pronounce sprayed on it, or in it, chances are HIGH that it’s harmful to the environment. And, do we even dare talk about the manufacturing process or the wrapping used on some products? Yipes!!

Did any of you see Carol Burnett’s spoof on Gone with the Wind where she came down the stairs wearing a gown made from curtains and curtain rods and quipped, “I saw it in the window and couldn’t resist!” We Earth Gals go ga-ga when we find folks who have cleverly converted old quilts into designer jackets, or inner tubes into purses, or sea glass into stunning jewelry!
