The Fairly Traded Organics (FTO) ethos is that organic agricultural practices help to preserve the fertile soils and precious water resources of our planet and that Fair Trade practices promote dramatic and sustained change for the families that grow these crops.

FTO lives by what we preach – our sugar operations have been producing organic certified raw sugar cane in Paraguay South America since 1994 and the mill is the oldest continuously operating organic sugar mill in the world. Our mill is also one of only 3 in the world to produce sugar that is both organic and Fair Trade certified.

All of our organic raw cane sugars and sugar products are GMO-free and arecertified organic - holding NOP (U.S.), JAS (Japan), EU (European Union), and Bio Suisse (Switzerland) certificates. All of our sugar products are also Kosher certified and can be Fair Trade certified.

We also supply a variety of other organic products from our partner producers in Uganda and India. These partnerships were forged because we saw an opportunity to bring some very unique organic products to the world market while also assisting the family farmers secure fairer prices for their organic crops. We take pride in the fact that our work helps to promote dramatic and sustained economic, community, and educational development in these communities.
