American Apparel makes one of the finest organic cotton t-shirts. I own several of them in natural and black with a regular neckline and v-neck. I wear them as undershirts during the cooler times of the year. They are soft, breath well, and most notably, have a great fit. The actually run a bit small, which is good for me, since I'm a bit smaller than average and like my clothes to be fitted. If you're looking for an oversized t-shirt, these are not it.
The only negative to this t-shirt is the mixed ethics of the company's founder: Dov Charney. American Apparel is made in the USA with "fair-labor", but Dov has been constantly accused of sexual harassment and that's just not cool. If he wasn't so slimy, I would give this product 5 stars.
